Sub bachelor courses - implementation discussion paper

The Government is seeking feedback on implementation arrangements for the measure to extend the demand driven funding system to approved sub-bachelor courses at public universities.

The deadline for feedback on the consultation paper has been extended to COB 13 October 2017. Feedback should be sent to HEReform@education.gov.au.

Estimating the public and private benefits of higher education

The department commissioned Deloitte Access Economics on 17 June 2016 to estimate the relative public and private benefits for higher education with breakdowns for disciplines, qualification levels (sub‑bachelor, bachelor and postgraduate coursework), and for types of higher education provider.

Cost of Delivery of Higher Education

The ‘Cost of delivery of higher education’ report was conducted by Deloitte Access Economics. The report helped inform the Government on decisions regarding the appropriate level of funding for higher education institutions.

Research Infrastructure Review 2016

In October 2014, the former Hon Christopher Pyne MP appointed the Research Infrastructure Review Panel to undertake a review into research infrastructure. The Review decided to focus on National Research Infrastructure. This is the final report including findings and recommendations into research infrastructure.
