The actions proposed recognise the value teachers bring to students, communities and the economy.

Would you like to provide feedback about these actions?
The campaign is a 'nice to have', but it doesn't address the significant systemic issues impacting education. Teachers need a payrise, teachers need more time to complete their core duties, teachers need more support. Surely the 10 million would be better spent addressing these issues.

The actions proposed will be effective in increasing the number of students entering ITE, number of students completing ITE and the number of teachers staying in and/or returning to the profession.

It's great to be trying to raise status of the profession and attract more teachers, but it would seem that the issue is not with attraction but with retention.
