I missed the deadline for applying for be a participant in one of the new HAT pilots. Can I seek an extension on the due date?
It is best to reach out to the respective universities or providers regarding applications, including enrolment opening/closing dates and times.
Which schools are Eligible Placement Schools under Phase 2 HAT?
An Eligible Placement School includes all government schools; Catholic or Independent schools with an Index of Community Socio-Educational Advantage (ICSEA) value equal to or below the national median (1000) at the time of placement; and all schools that are majority Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander schools, special schools or special assistance schools.
Am I entitled to other scholarships or supports while participating in HAT?
If you have not already done so, you may wish to contact your intended HAT provider with your enquiry.

What should I do if I have a complaint about the HAT Program?
If you have a complaint regarding the HAT Program, we encourage you to first contact the relevant providers directly, as they may be able to resolve your concern. If your complaint requires further assistance, you can refer to the Department of Education’s Complaints webpage for information on how to submit a formal complaint and the process for resolution.
