Strongly disagree
Would you like to provide feedback about these actions?
Teaching is not respected as a profession by the wider community. Due to personal past experiences, the wider community often uses their own child’s education to try and resolve their own past issues. The training, effort and work of teachers need to be recognised and advocated by those in positions of power and influence. It needs to be publicly acknowledged that teaching and pedagogy has changed and improved from past experiences.
Improving teacher supply
The actions proposed will be effective in increasing the number of students entering ITE, number of students completing ITE and the number of teachers staying in and/or returning to the profession.
