This is what needs to be included in any action plan, particularly removal of the salary cap and increase our salary, commensurate with other similarly educated professionals.

We have an urgent need to recruit and retain many more teachers. In my [REDACTED] school of almost 1000 students, we have a total of 2 casual teachers. This directly impacts our ability to participate in quality Professional Learning during the working day.

Stop focusing on pathways that only recognise and pay higher salaries that should be paid to all of us. I have been teaching for 37 years and am seen as excellent by my school leaders and colleagues. I don't have time to jump through hoops to get the pay I deserve.
