Elevating the profession

Somewhat agree

Pay rise for all teachers not a select few who are deemed experts!!! What happens in a school where there are a lot of experts at one school not enough funding to award everyone? Such a bad idea that will cause more teachers to leave profession when they see some of their colleagues being thanked and rewarded as an expert and they aren’t.

Improving teacher supply

The actions proposed will be effective in increasing the number of students entering ITE, number of students completing ITE and the number of teachers staying in and/or returning to the profession.

Strongly disagree

How about listen to the teachers currently teaching and value them first!!!!

Strengthening Initial Teacher Education (ITE)

The actions proposed will ensure initial teacher education supports teacher supply and quality.

The issue is the way teachers currently in the classroom are treated - lack of respect from parents and our leaders. Pay us properly for the job that we do! No one wants to be a teacher as we are treated like garbage and poorly paid.

Maximising the time to teach

The actions proposed will improve retention and free up teachers to focus on teaching and collaboration.

Get leaders and those from region visiting our schools to back off and let us teach, the over planning and analysing of data is ridiculous. It’s not the students getting in our way it’s the people out of the classroom.
