This will only bring competitiveness back to the profession. Rather than focussing on building teacher capacity, collaboration and collegiality you want to encourage staff to be better than their peers. This will only work towards increasing stress levels on staff already pulling from buckets that are empty!
Improving teacher supply
The actions proposed will be effective in increasing the number of students entering ITE, number of students completing ITE and the number of teachers staying in and/or returning to the profession.

Strengthening Initial Teacher Education (ITE)
The actions proposed will ensure initial teacher education supports teacher supply and quality.

The teaching degree needs to be completely overhauled. There needs to have a paid internship at the end of the degree wherein teachers are required to complete at least 6 months of paid on the job training. At the completion of their degree they should have to undertake at least 12 months of CRT work - this builds experience in every aspect of teaching; particularly behaviour management which is crucial to successful teaching.
Maximising the time to teach
The actions proposed will improve retention and free up teachers to focus on teaching and collaboration.

Unless you minimise the curriculum there will never be enough time to complete the administrative or other duties associated with teaching.
