Teachers who have recently retired or resigned due to an untenable position should be able to apply for a permanent position or have full approval to teach not just casual approval. Currently waiting for full approval even though I work on a temporary contract . Apparently we are not what the DET wants even though there are quite a few of us around. I have to start from scratch even though I have over 20 years of experience. Waste of time and bureaucratic nonsense .
Maximising the time to teach
The actions proposed will improve retention and free up teachers to focus on teaching and collaboration.
