Reducing the curriculum content and keeping only the curriculum content that is relevant to the age group would help.

Reducing the amount accreditation hours, professional learning requirements and reflection process associated with it would free up teachers to actually teach.

Better understanding future teacher workforce needs

Not effective at all

Would you like to provide feedback about these actions?

National recognition of teaching is essential. The bureaucracy around transferring between states for teachers is ridiculous.

Better career pathways to support and retain teachers in the profession

The proposed actions will improve career pathways, including through streamlining the process for Highly Accomplished and Lead Teacher (HALT) accreditation, and providing better professional support for teachers to retain them in the profession.

Somewhat agree

Would you like to provide feedback about these actions?

It is a lot of extra work for a teacher and financial cost to provide in order to be recognised as HALT. It should be simply a recommendation from the school principal.
