Bachelor courses where placement is conducted do not receive paid traineeship.
Most people entering the education sector to become an educator have families or existing jobs. If you look at this year (my placement), there was 5 weeks of placement. Yet, there are other people that do a mix stream bachelor where their specialize in two areas. Therefore, placement for someone like me in 2022 was 9 weeks.

The actions proposed will ensure initial teacher education supports teacher supply and quality.

Fantastic for Lantite to start before you beginning the course.
Will the cost of Lantite for students be provided from their university? Its $200 out of pocket for a student and that is even if they get a pass of their two tests.
If a student fails Lantite, what sort of structural program will there be to support those students? Is there a cost?
The national standard for Lantite is the same for those that are able-bodied compared to those with intellectual / learning disabilities. Will there be a different passing average for those with disability to get more diverse people into the workforce? (For example, mine is 2 areas of dyslexia. Getting to that average has a lot of associated challenges including cost to get support).
Better understanding future teacher workforce needs

Moderately effective

Recommendation to mimic early childhood centers in which their center receives a star rating. To apply this to schools, schools are to be reviewed on their teaching practices and standards in which they comply with the curriculum.
