The actions proposed recognise the value teachers bring to students, communities and the economy.

Make the post graduate study a grad dip again as it’s No so onerous to complete.
Give options to complete teacher training in a short course less than 6 months.
Increase on the job traineeships with full pay. Teach for Australia.
Lessen the reporting and admin so teachers can teach.
Give more work to teacher aides. Increase high d hook sides too.
Bring back schools for kids with additional needs.
Ban iPhones/phones in classrooms and restrict use to after school only.
Take unnecessary stuff out of curriculum
Focus on education not other stuff
Remind parents that it’s their responsibility to get children ready for learning so teachers can focus more on teaching and less on behaviour management
Children go to school to learn, grow, and prepare for the work place. Remember that a conversation about careers will go a long way.
Pay leaders in schools well. Their job is so hard!
