The Australian Universities Accord Panel (the Panel) has commenced stakeholder consultations on the review of the higher education system.

The Panel has engaged with a range of stakeholders in Sydney and Hobart, and at roundtables in Canberra, Melbourne and Perth. Engagements with other states and territories will follow in 2023.

The Panel has met with student and staff representatives, university Chancellors, Vice-Chancellors, and Deputy Vice-Chancellors, education sector experts and academics, business and industry peak bodies, and university, independent and tertiary peak bodies. There will be additional opportunities for stakeholders to contribute ideas and provide input at future roundtables and targeted engagements.

Online opportunities are currently open through a survey and initial submission on the priorities for the review. The survey and submissions close on 19 December and can be accessed at the Accord Consultation page.
