I am a qualified engineer who has changed career to teach Secondary STEM. No credits or recognition were provided for my prior education in Maths and Technology when I enrolled in MTeach. I still have my HECS loan and I am dissatisfied with the current working conditions at DET. The workload in general which is also compounded by the staff shortage simply not sustainable.

Most actions proposed would not solve the existing problem unless we are paid more, administrative workload reduced and respected as professionals.
