Feedback on the Mitchell Institute Report: Australian Investment in Education: Early Childhood Education and Care

On 16 February 2020, the Mitchell Institute published a report titled Australian Investment in Education: Early Childhood Education and Care (the report). The report analysed Government expenditure in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector and identified areas for policy reform.

The Department of Education, Skills and Employment welcomes the report but has found a number of inaccuracies and has outlined recommendations.
