I'm desperately trying to get into middle leadership positions because of the money. Yet, schools need my digital technologies expertise in the classroom. The HALT salary would keep me in front of students but the process to attain HALT seems like a major amount of extra work. Why not keep teachers like me by simply granting us HALT status?
