Paper work and accountability are soul crushing. Trust in your staff that they know their job and are following curriculum and assessment protocols.
I guess any profession will have a small amount of employees who do not do the right thing…..why apply the same expectations on their entire workforce when it really should just apply to those knowingly not planning effectively.

The current workload is unsustainable. So many mid-career teachers I know don’t see themselves in the professions longer than 5 years.
Better career pathways to support and retain teachers in the profession
The proposed actions will improve career pathways, including through streamlining the process for Highly Accomplished and Lead Teacher (HALT) accreditation, and providing better professional support for teachers to retain them in the profession.

When I compare my workload with other professionals in their 40’s and 50’s the wage disparity is disappointing.
