Feedback
In 23 years of teaching I am yet to come across anyone who believes they received the skills and knowledge to enter the classroom ready to teach. Universities just don’t prepare teachers with the classroom management skills, knowledge of reading/writing and mathematical foundations needed.
University have for too long just created subjects and curriculum that fail to support early career teachers. Schools have taken on the burden of training early career teachers at a huge cost of money and time.
Students deserve better.
