The level 3 process is considerably time consuming. Many teachers hold/manage many extra programs, are team leaders, subject area co-ordinators, learning support coordintors whilst on a regular teacher load and pay. The thought of providing extra documentation such as a level 3 portfolio, whilst possibly even applying for new jobs and keeping up with normal class paper work IEP's, referrals, excursions etc. Maybe a recognition of the extra roles teachers volunteer to do could be confirmd by adminitrators to streamline the process.
