Improving teacher supply
The actions proposed will be effective in increasing the number of students entering ITE, number of students completing ITE and the number of teachers staying in and/or returning to the profession.

LANTITE needs to be abolished immediately. You will see an immediate influx of graduare teachers enter and an increase in people choosing to enter the degree.
This test is abhorrent. It is detrimental to pre service teachers. It affects their well being and confidence to enter the profession.
Did you know that you have to apply to ACER not the university for the 4th attempt? Why is it up to a 3rd party to decide on a person's career. It is a money making test for ACER and proves nothing but what standardised testing can do for the teacher supply... which is to choke it.
