The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) has launched this year's Tax, Super + You competition.
For teachers with students in years 7 – 12, this could be their chance to shine!
The competition is a great way for students to unleash their creativity and showcase their tax and super knowledge! Students can enter individually or in a group.
There are two age group categories, with separate topics and prizes for each.
- Junior (years 7–9): When it comes to tax and super, what do I need to do when I'm ready to start my first job?
- Senior (years 10–12): How does superannuation in Australia work for me?
The ATO has free high-quality teacher-developed resources that can be used in the classroom and as a starting point for students to create their entries. These resources align to the Australian Curriculum v9.0.
Let's get the ball rolling and spark those imaginations to explore the essential life topics of tax and super. Students can Write it, Make it or Film it, the sky's the limit with what they can create and achieve.
Don't miss out – entries must be submitted by 5.00pm AEST on Friday 5th September 2025. Winners will be announced in November 2025.
