Expert Members of the Council for International Education established the China Working Group to explore ways to diversify and broaden Australia’s education, training and research engagement in and with China.

Informed by a survey of stakeholders, industry case studies and extensive sector consultation, the Working Group’s report, The Australia-China Education Relationship: Diversity, Complexity and Maturity, provides an overview of the existing depth of Australia’s education partnership with China and highlights opportunities to enhance our engagement.

The report includes recommended actions for federal and state/territory governments and the sector, aimed at elevating the education engagement with China, promoting greater sharing of information and expertise, and increasing mutually beneficial collaboration including further transnational education.
