Bullying No Way: National Week of Action

Bullying No Way: National Week of Action 12th to the 16th August

Next week from 12-16 August schools and communities will come together to mark the first Bullying No Way: National week of action, aimed at preventing and addressing bullying and violence. The goal is to promote inclusion, respect and belonging so that everyone feels like they have a place.

The theme this year is Everyone Belongs, which focuses on advocating for a culture where everyone feels included and which leaves no room for bullying.

You can register as a school or a supporter to participate in Bullying No Way Week.

Registered schools and supporters will have access to an online toolkit which will include a range of downloadable resources including lesson plans, engagement activities, event materials, and social media content.

There are five focus areas that schools can choose to focus on, with short activities provided for students:

  1. Challenge stereotypes
  2. Promote empathy
  3. Embrace diversity
  4. Foster positive relationships
  5. Provide support
