The Department of Education and Training is pleased to host a pictorial exhibition documenting the 120 years of early learning in Australia. The exhibition has been created by KU Children’s Services, who started the very first early learning service in Australia in 1896.

Using multi-platform storytelling, this beautiful 12-piece exhibition includes a collection of photographs and narratives showcasing how early childhood education has evolved over the past 120 years.

With links to mobile accessible, web-based content, the exhibition provides opportunities for the public to not only engage with the panels themselves, but also to learn more about the rich history of early education in Australia, and to share that history with others.

The exhibition is on display From 2 - 12 August in the 50 Marcus Clarke Street building foyer in Canberra. It is open to the public during business hours.
